Olivier Fruneau-Maigret, antique dealer, expert, and art historian, has been a collector since a young age. Attracted early on to antique toys, dolls, illustrated advertising, and popular imagery, he has developed a unique perspective on the decorative arts of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Original illustrations and posters with strong themes and powerful graphics occupy a central place in his world, marked by Art Nouveau, the Napoleon III style, and modern art. Specializing in works on paper, popular art, prints, and symbolism, he is also interested in Breton painting and the Breton school.
