Rare original color lithograph by Alphonse Mucha, published in 1897 in the prestigious magazine L'Estampe Moderne, a major publication of Art Nouveau and Symbolism at the end of the 19th century.

Considered the twin plate of Salome, The Incantation illustrates a captivating female figure, treated in a mystical and decorative atmosphere. The work is distinguished by the richness of its ornamentation, the finesse of the drawing, and the chromatic harmony, characteristics of Mucha's emblematic style.

Condition:
Very fine condition.
The print is unrestored, strictly in keeping with its original form, and displays a beautiful patina from use.
The paper is very fresh, with a very slight, even yellowing, without any alteration to the image or margins (see photographs).
No tears, no losses, no restoration.

The work has been removed from its frame for verification.
