This privacy and personal data protection policy explains how PROANTIC manages personal data and respects privacy. PROANTIC is a website dedicated to professional antique dealers, enabling them to showcase their merchandise and get in touch with clients, whether professionals or private individuals.
All “personal data” (any information that identifies or makes it possible to identify, contact, or locate a person to whom such information relates) that we collect and retain are subject to this privacy policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding how we manage your personal data, or any other matter related to personal data, please contact us:
By post: PROANTIC, 3 rue Paul Tavernier, 77300 Fontainebleau, France

A simple visitor to the website is a person who:
has not registered as a seller (professional antique dealer or art gallery),
has not created a profile in the Buyer Account,
has taken no other action to register for one of our services.
For such visitors, PROANTIC does not collect any personal data. Browsing the website leaves no trace other than legally required IP address logs and anonymous information collected by Google Analytics via a cookie that measures website traffic volume.
When opening a gallery for sellers (professional antique dealers or art galleries), PROANTIC collects the information required for this purpose:
gallery name,
address,
contact details,
SIRET number,
VAT number.
This information can be modified via the gallery administration interface or upon simple request from the seller. It is also a necessary condition for the operation of a gallery on PROANTIC.
A request to remove this information may result in the closure of the gallery and the termination of the professional service.
Opening a Buyer Account is done upon simple request. PROANTIC collects the person’s email address. This email address may be added to the newsletter mailing list if the person checks the corresponding box in their account management area.
When logging into the Buyer Account, PROANTIC creates a cookie that allows recognition of the visitor as registered in the Buyer Account and thus provides access to services (such as selecting items to follow, adding galleries to favorites, and receiving alerts). All of this is managed within the Buyer Account.
The only browsing data collected are those obtained via Google Analytics (see above). PROANTIC does not retain any history of the various selections that were made and then deleted.
PROANTIC does not use this data to target its communications and does not cross-reference Google Analytics information with Buyer Account data.
When a visitor contacts a seller, the information provided (email address and/or telephone number, as well as the message text) is stored on our server. This is done solely for convenience, so that antique dealers have a copy of the message sent to them.
This information may be deleted either by the antique dealer (who manages it as a messaging system), by PROANTIC, or upon request from the author of the message. This data is neither used nor analyzed for marketing or commercial purposes.
PROANTIC does not sell, rent, or disclose information to third parties.
When required by law (for example in the context of a subpoena, warrant, court decision, or legal proceedings), we may be required to provide access to your data to judicial authorities.
Users of the PROANTIC website may request at any time the deletion of any data that may have been communicated.
In the context of a registration for the Buyer Account service or the opening of a gallery, the data are retained without time limit and are manageable via the management interfaces of these services by the persons who subscribed to them.
