Elegant Napoleon III period pedestal table in black lacquered wood, decorated with polychrome floral motifs and gilded highlights.
The rectangular, scalloped top is adorned with a hand-painted decoration depicting a bouquet of flowers accompanied by a bird, in a refined spirit typical of the Second Empire.
The pedestal table rests on a curved tripod base, black lacquered and embellished with gilded decorations, in fine overall condition. The mechanism is functional.
The set is in very fine original condition, with traces of use over time.
Note: the top has three chips with missing pieces, as well as slight rubbing on the right-hand side. The whole set can be restored. Please refer to the photos of the tray.
