They attended the soirée held at the Chinese museum of Count Gaston de Nicolaï, located at 5 rue de Courty. Also present at this gathering were Baron d'Alte, a doctor accompanied by his brother-in-law, and an elite group, highlighting the fashionable nature of the event.” The family left Paris shortly afterwards and was recorded in Holland as early as 1852. This handwritten annotation constitutes an important historical element for the understanding and dating of the work.
