Important oval reliquary (19 cm x 13.5 cm) under glass, mounted in an antique metal frame (probably brass or copper, formerly gilded), featuring a rich radiating composition on a red textile background.
Description:
The interior is organized according to a compartmentalized network structured by coiled gilt metal wires (paperolles), punctuated with colored glass cabochons. Each relic is placed in the center of a radiating medallion of silvered metal strips, with a handwritten label cut from parchment.
The whole piece testifies to high-quality conventual work, typical of monastic productions in Northern Italy during the 18th century.

A set comprising 24 relics of holy martyrs, confessors, bishops, and New Testament figures.
The original closure on the back is preserved: antique crossed silk threads, an intact red wax seal bearing a coat of arms, guaranteeing ecclesiastical authenticity and the integrity of the contents.
Condition:
Very good overall condition considering its age. Natural oxidation of the peripheral metal. Seal intact.
A piece of great devotional significance, richly composed, representative of Baroque conventual reliquaries.
In accordance with canon law (can. 1190 §1), this sale concerns only the reliquary as a sacred work of art.
The relics it contains are not the subject of the transaction, but are included free of charge for their historical and cultural value.
