Rare and prestigious Freemason seal, composed of an egg cut from rock crystal set in a decorative setting in finely chiseled gilded and silver.

Description

The shaft is adorned with lapis lazuli plaques with cut sides, highlighted by silver threads.
The base is decorated with royal blue enamel with white dots, typical of the symbolic ornamentation of the late 19th century.
The matrix of the seal, in patinated bronze , depicts a coded Masonic composition, with stylized elements (levels, compasses, column, stylized flowers), engraved in hollow.
The set clearly evokes a personal ritual object, reserved for a high dignitary or member of a rite workshop.

Condition:

Very good general condition, some micro-shocks on the crystal, minor wear on the enamel. Old patina not cleaned.
