The bottle is presented in its original case covered in black leather, with a silk and velvet interior, perfectly matching the shape of the piece.This type of miniature bottle was intended to be carried as a lady's necessaire or when traveling, and testifies to the refinement of 19th century goldsmithing and glassmaking
