Silver votive wreath or statue wreath—repoussé and openwork—18th century
Elegant votive wreath intended to adorn a religious statue, crafted from silver (hallmarked).
The frame is richly decorated with openwork motifs of foliage and scrolls inspired by the Baroque style, resting on a base adorned with a row of raised cabochons.
The four finely chased arches converge beneath a cross at the top
The crown is equipped with its original mounting pin, allowing it to be attached to a sculpture of the Virgin Mary or the Infant Jesus.
Condition:
Very good condition, with slight signs of wear consistent with its age. The mounting pin is present.
