Large Paperolles Reliquary - Virgin And Child - 19th Century
Here is an imposing reliquary in its twisted carved and gilded wooden frame. A beautiful enhanced engraving of the Virgin and Child sits in its center. She is protected by a Marian crown made of paper. Six ex-ossibus relics are present, namely those of Saints Clement, Amant, Severinus, Plicien, Bon and finally Saint Celestine.
Dimensions of 49 cm by 42 and 10.5 cm deep.
