Processional Staff With Virgin In Glory - 19th Century
On the shaft of this staff from the end of the 19th or very beginning of the 20th century, there are three knots with cabochons of Our Virgin in Majesty in a mandorla in Glory, resting on a canopy on which are engraved various inscriptions including "Sainte Familiae Mechliniae" in reference to the city of Malines in Belgium as well as thanks associated with the year 1908.
On another side is the name of a religious, the RD Danden Broeck who is probably represented on the medallion of the canopy.
