Neogothic Chapel In Silver - Lucie Goldstein - Circa 1900

A silver and vermeil chapel set from thevery late 19th or early 20th century.A beautiful liturgical set in silver and vermeil, crafted by theParisian master silversmith Lucie Goldstein, including a chalice, itspaten, and two crystal cruets with silver and vermeil mounts, presentedin its original case.
The richly crafted chalice features a chiseled decoration of scrollwork andplant motifs, embellished with three enamel inlays.The two cut-glass cruets rest infinely crafted silver and vermeil settings, with their handles and stoppers adorned withfoliage motifs. The set is preserved in its original butworn case, lined with red velvet.
The master’s mark LG accompanied by a star, attributed to LucieGoldstein, is paired with the Minerva hallmark.
Lucie Goldstein is documented asa Parisian silversmith from 1896 onward.
Chalice: 23 cm; paten diameter: 13.5 cm.
The combined weight of the chalice, paten, and lavabo (excluding the cruets) is 573 grams.
The brass elevation bell was added later.
