Canivet, Volume XIX
A very interesting religious card depicting a girl receiving her First Communion in a Gothic church. An inscription on the back reads “May 10, 1852.”
The card unfolds to form the walls. The doors open to reveal the girl receiving Communion, whose dress is also rendered in relief. She wears a rosary (added later) on her wrist and holds a candle in her other hand. The card is in good condition.
