Virgin Our Lady Of Victories
Very beautiful virgin in carved painted and gilded wood dating from the 19th century. It is a virgin called Notre Dame des Victoires. It is of very good quality of sculpture and in very good condition despite some accidents visible in the photos. The virgin is standing on a cloud, carried by the angels. In her arms, the child Jesus who is standing on the terrestrial globe. Both are crowned in gold to signify that Jesus and Mary are the kings of hearts and that by their merciful love and their gentleness, they reign over the whole earth and in heaven. Marian symbol and cherubs on the base.
