Large Art Nouveau Suspension
Very beautiful "rise and fall" suspension model entirely in polished brass with typical Art Nouveau decoration, both on the lampshade and on the bail and counterweights. The carrying lyre is flanked by very pretty ornaments in the purest style of the Viennese Secession. In perfect condition. Wiring redone. To operate the "up and down" system there was originally a spring loaded wire which is to my knowledge prohibited nowadays. To overcome this drawback, I left some margin of wire in the bail cover.
