Bronze Church/altar Crucifix - 18th Century
Bronze church / altar crucifix - 18th century (old assembly) Bronze altar crucifix, decorated with the crucified Christ, above him the INRI band in a finely cut cartouche. This set is made from a processional cross (see photo with terminal thread) which could be late 17th century. The foot is in Rococo / Louis XIV style. Good condition with however a small lack on the "back legs" which makes the whole unstable. To be applied against a wall. Height 36 cm, width 16 cm, base 12 cm X 6 cm
