"18th Century Wrought Iron Hearth Rack"
Wrought iron rack from the 13th century decorated with a fleur-de-lis and monogrammed. It incorporates a tree of life into its decoration and is monogrammed with the initials of the owner "IB" (Marriage?). The upper part of the rack is decorated with a fleur-de-lis. The fixing ring is movable around its axis. Composed of a double hook (1 sliding = height adjustment and a terminal). The hooks are finished with a bead. The whole is assembled solely by hot forging (no rivets). Its weight is 3.7 kg. Its closed height is 140 cm. Open to the last notch, its deployed height is 195 cm
