Wrought Iron Hearth Rack, Late 17th - Early 18th Century. Decorated with a fleur-de-lis and rack engraved with "crosses", circles and broken sticks. The adjustment hook is also decorated and finished in a closed circle. The elongated fixing ring is movable around its axis. The suspension hook is finished with a bead. The whole is assembled solely by hot forging (no rivets). Its weight is 4.5 kg. Its closed height is 111 cm. Open to the last notch, its deployed height is 145 cm.
