"Lunéville Earthenware Holy Water Font"
Lunéville Faience Holy Water Font - Early 19th Century. This font is characteristic of Lunéville design, featuring a wide bowl joined along its entire width to the base, and a nipple-shaped rim. The back is notched above the cross. The basin has its original decoration. (See photos in the reference book.) The polychromy is in perfect condition. There is a very fine crack (at the feet of Christ), no chips, and no restoration. There is a small chip in the glaze on the nipple. Height 20 cm
