Large Platter From Lyon Or Moustiers - 18th Century
Large oblong faience dish from Lyon or Moustiers with a scalloped rim - 18th century (circa 1730-1750). Decorated in blue monochrome with a central bouquet and arabesque friezes and peripheral fillets. The dish has been restored (two concealed cracks at 7 and 11 o'clock). Crazing is visible from the back. A small chip remains at 3 o'clock. The pieces could benefit from reworking; the old repair is not adhering to the base. Length 44 cm, width 34.5 cm.
