Wrought iron or gadrooning iron. 18th century The iron was heated directly in the embers of the hearth. It is made of wrought iron. Its handle is made of original turned wood. The is worked in an octagonal shape. Very good condition, apart from a few wormholes on the handle, as well as a burn mark.
