18th Century Wrought Iron Shovel
18th century wrought iron hearth shovel. Very ornate, in very thick steel, its weight being 1.100 kg. The shovel part is very cut (see Photos) as well as the lower part of the handle. The latter ends with a forged hook crossing and riveted to the front of the top. The rest of the handle is cylindrical and swollen in its middle. Rare object which is usually rather cut sheet metal.
