A Burmese bronze Buddha, crafted in the Mandalay tradition in the 19th century. The figure retains a ritual finish combining layers of lacquer, ground preparation, and gilding with gold leaf—characteristics typical of Burmese devotional bronze images.
The surface displays an antique patina and wear consistent with prolonged religious use. The reverse retains its original ritual seal, a feature documented during the examination of the object.
Cast bronze with a polychrome finish and antique gilding. Traces of wear on the gilding and the surface have been preserved; no cosmetic restoration has been performed.
