Circa 1860-1880 Ottoman Empire- Turkey Precious flat skirt in cream pekiné silk veil embroidered available. Tone-on-tone cream embroidery with garlands of flowers and Arabic calligraphy, including the Tugra. Dimensions corresponding to a crinoline skirt for an elegant woman from Constantinople. Rare rust spots and a repair on the edge to report, otherwise stable condition, good resistance of the pekiné silk and the embroidery. Very good condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 280 cm bottom bottom skirt (140 cm flat) by 120 cm high.
