Circa 1950 South Tunisia Beautiful Berber ceremonial headdress with embroidery of golden metallic blades on a yellow satin background. Interesting bonnet in woven silk ribbon from Tunis, the tradition of which dates back to the 18th century. Berber embroidery around the face and green, orange and red silk pompoms. Yellow cotton lining. Beautiful object of Berber ethnology collected in Matmata. No flaw. Good general condition and stable fabrics. Dimensions: Height 668 cm, pan width 36 cm, circumference of the cap 41 cm, length of the straps 56 cm.
