Evening Dress In Caudry Lace - France Or Europe Circa 1935-1942

Circa 1935-1942 France or Europe Long evening dress in salmon cream Caudry lace dating from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Loose, straight cut, V-neck, gathered at the shoulders and slightly flared at the bottom forming a mini-train behind. Three-quarter sleeves with small puffs tightened with elastic at the elbows. Small triangular yoke under the front chest and gathered pleats at the bottom of the back decorated with a large rhinestone buckle (a few stones missing). Underdress in powder pink silk crepe playing transparently with two-tones and cream lace with large flowers. No side zip or branding. A few rare small gaps in the tulle background, otherwise clean, no holes or stains. Good general condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: Equivalent to size 38 France. Shoulders 38 cm, chest 90 cm, waist 78-84 cm, hips 93-100 cm, front height 135 cm, back height 141 cm, sleeves 47 cm.
