Beautiful waistcoat made of mauve velvet panne with a band embroidered with silver blades, originating from the Sousse region of Tunisia. Chain stitch embroidery featuring the Hand of Fatima and gold-yellow silk cord piping. Lined with yellow chintz. Complete with its silver-leaf bell buttons. The velvet has a patina but no flaws. Very good condition in terms of color and preservation.
Dimensions: equivalent to a French men’s size 52. Height 51 cm, width 53 cm.
