Pair of women's shoes - Ottoman Empire or North Africa, circa 1900. Carved wooden shoes with engravings and mother-of-pearl inlays. Also included are a leather and embroidered velvet band to secure the foot. Minor damage and missing parts. One shoe is missing a brass nail head used to hold the leather in place (see last photo). Weight approximately 165g each. Length approximately 22.5cm each.
