Superb pair of ceremonial shoes, intended for high classes of Middle Eastern society, for their receptions or portraits, they are of Mughal tradition, extreme quality of manufacture, elegant, composed of several layers of leather, polychromed, inlaid, very finely embroidered with silver, (salma sitara embroidery) on a form of remarkable elegance.
Commissioned work, Middle East late 19th century, unique quality.
Good condition, they have been worn very little, small traces of wear, recently waxed by us for good conservation.
