Beautiful large bistro board game, folding backgamon with 2 jans in satin mahogany veneer with boxwood fillets on all exterior sides, front and bottom decorated with a superb polychrome advertising marquetry of Mantalo, the angel mint liqueur, from Raissac and Co. in Revel.
Period: between the two w.wars, as we can still say in these days.
Comes from the Toulouse region, around 1930.
Condition of discovery, the game has been used well, a few moth holes, a small tear on carpet, scratches on corners, and hinges to be repaired.
