Large Berber shawl woven in reversible bayadere wool and collected in the Tataouine region in southern Tunisia. Very fine hand-woven on a handloom in two sewn widths of 64 cm. The colors are vegetable, including the cochineal red background striped with blue, black, and white. Perfect as a decoration for a sofa throw or for the bed. Entirely hand-sewn. Slight variation in colors that remain intense. No holes or stains, despite a natural patina. Very good condition of color and preservation.
