Precious Palestinian shawl in gold lamé woven silk, collected in Jordan and dating from the early 20th century. Red and black marbled woven background (probably original) with wide central box with double fabric in gold thread lamé. Oriental design with geometric graphics and ikat-style stripes. The sides are adorned with twelve colored tassel cords adorned with gold thread passementerie. No flaws other than the marbling on the bottom, probably original. No holes or stains. Good condition in terms of color and conservation.
