Precious large Japanese Kimono yardage in printed silk with trademark stamps to be deciphered by a Japanese, piece collected in Osaka in 1974. Very supple, light orange silk damask printed with flowers and overprinted in gold with country vegetation. The composition of the motif reminds us of the interlocking scales of Indian palempores, here composed of stylized daisies and lagoon vegetation. Please note that this is not an Obi, but a complete original yardage with weaving head and tail, complete with selvedges. This piece is made available before assembly and sewing of a Kimono. No defects. Very good condition in terms of color and conservation
