Circa 1900-1930, China. A large embroidered silk temple banner - China, early 20th century. Red and blue silk satin background, embroidered in satin stitch with birds of paradise, peonies, and butterflies. Cotton lining (minor soiling to the cotton lining). No stains or holes; only one corner of the blue silk shows minor damage. Very good condition in terms of color and preservation. Dimensions: 196 cm x 49 cm.
