Circa 1895-1910, France. A long length (850 cm) of damask satin for dressmaking or furnishings, dating from the Art Nouveau period in France. A large pattern repeat of undulating ferns in a fine, tightly woven damask, playing on shades of old rose in a range of shades of lilac, powdery pink, and silver. Unused length from an unidentified Lyon manufacturer, which supplied the most famous houses of Worth, Doucet, Pingat, and Paquin! Perfect for a historical Art Deco or Art Nouveau decor. Width: 63 cm x approximately 850 cm. No flaws. Very good condition. Three meters at €360 or the entire 850 cm at €930. Dimensions: 850 cm x 63 cm.
