Summer Collection 1934 France Haute Couture afternoon coat by Jeanne Lanvin in mottled absinthe green wool knit highlighted with an orange scarf, integrated into the neckline. Straight cut, long sleeves, closed by a snap button in front. Fine topstitching on the armholes, wrists and scarf, specific to the work of Jeanne Lanvin. Label with the famous logo indicating Summer 1934 Jeanne Lanvin Paris 22 Fbg St Honoré (tears in the label) and a cotton bolduc on the back numbered 44070. The absinthe green silk crepe lining is lacunary in several places, probably due to chemical degradation of iron-laden silk. No stains or holes in the wool. Very good general condition apart from the lining. Piece of collection. Dimensions: Equivalent size France 36-38. Total height 106 cm.
