Taffeta camisole with brocaded edging dating from the Louis XVI period. Fitted cut with two crossed panels to pin at the front, three-quarter sleeves with angled sleeves and English-style back cut with pointed finish at the back. Base in pale silvery gray taffeta and baroque decoration with a profusion of Indian flowers. Fully lined in raw linen. Note two halos under the armpits, the only defect to note, otherwise clean, without holes or stains. Probably modification of the lining in the 18th century. Very good condition of color and preservation.
Dimensions: Large size for the period. Equivalent size 38-39 France. Height 45 cm, shoulders 38 cm, waist 80 cm, sleeves 31 cm, chest 90-95 cm.
