Circa 1860 Spain Long stole scarf in electric blue edging and shaded silk satin, originating from a bourgeois house in Madrid. Astonishing Spanish Baroque design with a frame bordered with Arab-Andalusian motifs of Islamic inspiration! Beautiful color of blue gradient between cream, sky-blue, ultramarine and navy. Fringes of silk cords tied at each end. Stable and resistant fabric but tiny small stabilized defects, insect holes, micro dirt... Good general condition. Dimensions: 254 cm long by 57 cm wide, plus 18 cm fringes.
