Circa 1780/1810 China Canton for export to Europe Large bedspread or hanging in mottled sky-blue satin embroidered in past stitch with polychrome mercerized silk thread. Three strips sewn before embroidery 73 cm wide attesting to its Asian origin. Large Naturalist decor arranged and structured with a central rosette and spandrels. Louis XVI style borders with interlacing flower stems. Unlined. Perfect state of color and conservation. Dimensions: 246cm x 228cm
