Circa 1880 France Provence A Patchwork collected in Provence and dating from the second half of the 19th century. Printed cotton diamonds, Indian sewn with front stitch., between 1820 and 1880. Alternation of prints with Adrianople red background, punctuated with Indian pitch, checks, flowers.... About fifteen triangles are altered and possibly to be replaced , otherwise very good resistance of the canvas for the rest. Stable hanging. Good general condition of color and conservation.
