Prestigious reissue by Tassinari et Chatel of a border made by Philippe De Lasalle for Stanislas Leczinski around 1760. Skilled weaving in brocaded silk and chenille lampas with a drapery design laden with roses, irises and passementerie tassels. The original 18th century edition was woven by Camille Pernon for the Crown Furniture Store. Also very popular in the 19th century, this evening dress was rewoven by Grand Frère and was also part of the Crown Furniture Store of the Second French Empire. This is a reweaving from the Tassinari et Chatel factory, which had bought Grand Frère in 1870. Full width of its selvedges. No defects. Very well preserved.
