French Revolutionary Hussar Bronze Figure
A beautiful, small bronze statuette depicting a hussar officer from the time of the French Revolution. It is executed with great finesse: the figure is depicted touching his mustache, dressed in a dolman and a pelisse, and wearing a “mirliton” cap. The piece rests on a Rococo-style base. It measures approximately 21.5 cm in height, with a square base measuring 6.5 cm on each side.
