Early Native American Indian Moccasins
Native American Indian moccasins. An early pair being made
from soft hide leather which is probably moose, showing light wear to the soles.
The fronts are intricately decorated in glass beadwork showing a flower pattern
to each. Black velvet ankle turnovers which are trimmed with red cotton lace
ties. The materials and construction suggest that these are quite early and
would probably pre date 1860s.
