"French Navy Flintlock Pistol, Model 1799"
French naval flintlock pistol, Model 1779, first type. Maker's mark "M. Rle de Tulle" on the lock plate, and crowned "R" inspector's mark under the brass furniture. Lock plate in working order, complete with its original belt hook and steel ramrod. A very rare flintlock pistol. Only 4,000 examples of this model were produced.
