Gendarmerie pistol model An IX in civilian version - France, early 19th century. Lock signed "Robert à St Etienne" (hardly legible). As is often the case with flintlock pistols, it was converted to percussion during the 19th century. Missing the ramrod and a screw in the trigger guard.
