Octagonal and then round barrels with a small flat spot on top, made of burnished iron, stamped with "NB" intertwined within a hexagon, and three bars: "BC" twice, and in the center a bar marked "BOUTET," signed on the upper flat surface "Entse Boutet," length 24.3 cm, 29.2 cm including the breech, 16 mm caliber, hair-خط; iron breeches; flat-bodied, white-polished lock plates, signed: “MANUFre à Versailles,” domed hammers, iron basins, all fittings in white-polished cut iron, a thick oval silver cap adorned around the rim with a frieze of semicircles and palmettes, on top, a trophy featuring a crossed sword and axe intertwined by an oak wreath against a background of branches; walnut stocks with long barrels, finely checkered "pensée" grips; iron ramrods.
