Cavalry Vest

Made of scarlet cloth, buttoned straight at the front with 18 bell buttons 1.1 cm in diameter, it is trimmed at the bottom front and collar with 0.7 cm wide white wool braid. At the front, a pocket open at the top is placed on each side of the vest, each pocket measuring 15.4 cm by 3 cm in height.
The opening of these pockets is edged on the sides and top with a white wool braid. Lining and back in unbleached canvas with back laces for adjustment to the body.
Good condition for the period, a rare cavalry item.
