Seal Of Albert De Wateville, Ordinance Officer To Emperor Napoleon I, First Empire
This seal of Albert de Waterville is the seal prior to his appointment as Baron of the Empire. Born in 1789, died in 1812. He is depicted in the full dress uniform of an officer of the Red Lancers. Later, he was called upon to become an aide-de-camp to the Emperor (see the last photograph where his coat of arms as Baron of the Empire is shown). A beautiful and rare piece from the First Empire period, from a private collection.
