Sabre of the 20th Dragoon Regiment, Model Year XIII. First Empire. Brass hilt with a guard plate. Four-branch guard, short-tailed pommel, wooden grip covered in black waxed leather with brass wire wrapping and a brass ferrule. Guard stamped with an "À" surmounted by a star, a "B," and the number "20." Guard plate with the "B" stamp. Double-fullered blade, back engraved "Manufacture Impériale de Klingenthal Novembre 18 ..?", with the "L" and "B" stamps and two laurel branches. Length 97.5 cm, with the point of the blade in line with the back, original scarlet sword knot. Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass mounts and two steel suspension rings. Overall length 116.5 cm. Good condition. 20th Dragoon Regiment, First Empire. France.
