Sword of the 1st Empire by Couleaux in Klingental, bearing the hallmark of "Nicolas Cherrer" inspector at the Klingental factory from June 0, 1807 to December 1809, 19th century. Blade bearing marking at the heel. Globular pommel engraved with melon ribs and rivet button. Filigree fuse and long quillon in inverted "U" shape curved towards the blade. Flat blade with 2 edges and 2 central grooves on the 2 thirds.
